Air-to-air pressure multipliers

The air-to-air pressure multiplier of the "MPA" series is a device that allows obtaining a downstream pressure greater than the inlet pressure, depending on the chosen compression ratio. AIRON pressure multipliers are available with compression ratios of 2.5:1, 3.5:1, and 5:1. The integrated control circuit in the system allows achieving the desired pressure by simply adjusting the inlet pressure. Easy to apply, compact in size, and with good flow capacity, it can be a practical and economical solution for all applications requiring a pressure higher than that provided by the compressor. They are typically used to increase the force of pneumatic cylinders, allowing for more compact size and weight for the same exerted force, for high-pressure blow-offs, component testing, burst tests, etc. For different flow rates and ratios, please consult our technical service.
